meet the parents session was today. went for breakfast at ghim moh market with mum before heading to school. while waiting for my turn to see mrs toh, miss lim suddenly shouted. the whole hall went silent and almost everyone turned around, facing the stage. i guess everyone got a shock. haha. but the silence went away after a while later. and the teachers continued talking. it was my turn after ralene's. i really wanted to laugh out loud when mrs toh started talking to my mum in english. i'm not looking down on her english language, but she was kind of cute when she started talking in english. haha. this was the scenario...

mrs toh: ni jiang ying yu hai shi hua yu? (you prefer talking in english or chinese)
mum: english.
mrs toh: okay, sure! okay luh, york cheng not bad. i can see that she work very hard.
mum: but not enough.
mrs toh: yar, york cheng, must work harder okay?
me: okay.
mum: will she be able to take course 1?
mrs toh: hmmm, let me see

checking class and level position

mrs toh: ah! can one. there, level is 23, sure can one.

i was starting to laugh already when suddenly she asked this question..

mrs toh: course 1 shi shen me?

HAHA. imagine the way she speak in english. she's really cute. haha. but i heard she's retiring end of this year. though i hate her sometimes for pms-ing in class, but i'll still miss her, not a lot. but simply miss her. ):

mum drove me home after that and went to work. went to play badminton with sarah, sarah's dad and stella. benji (sarah's little brother) came along too. it was sure fun to play badminton again, after a long long break because of the end of year examination. sarah's dad drove me back home after that.

tomorrow will be the last day of school for 2006. it will be the last day in the class of secondary 2F. and it will be the last day of being in the lower secondary section. i'm sure gonna miss everyone from secondary 2F, even the worst person in the class. secondary 1F '05 has always been in my heart. and now i'm adding another class of secondary 2F '06 into my big big heart, and that i'll remember both classes. i pray that God will give me a good memory of remembering everyone from secondary 1F '05 and 2F '06. i pray that i'll not forget anyone of them forever and ever. Amen.
